Well in my opinion handdraw and sprite animation are good but the real talent is how you do it. I love your handdraw and i hope you won't move to sprites because it would waste your talent. You only proove that you are good at drawning. Sure sprite animation looks great but the only thing you need to do is search for the sprites,you don't make them ( but some people make their own but not very often i see those ). Don't compare your self to a sprites animation because its nothing like it.
I hope you you will keep doing very well done animation like this one. The old one are also very good but this one just blew my mind.( i wrote you a coment on how i felt about your flash if you didn't already read it )
first thing I have to say, the battle was frikkin epic, you have inspired me to start doing some hand drawn animation!!!! But dude dont move away from pkmn so soon, I mean this and pokemon hunter are like the best pokemon animations ive ever seen, even better than the actual anime!!! you cant just leave us hanging again
:( and also, moving on to sprites will wont do you much good, the reason why most people sprite is because they are preparing to be a full hand drawn animator! So its going to be kind of a donwgrade lol, and if anything id much rather have skill than fame any day! and skill is somthing you have alot of. Those idiots who hate on your flash are just upset that they couldnt pull somthing as great as that! at least make 2 more Pkmn vids and you will be God!!! Maybe even teach me a thing or too ;)
Those were pretty epic. Most pokemon flashes I've seen where ok but didn't make me want more of it.
I too like your style a lot and think you should stick with it. Forget what others say. if it works for you and you know others enjoy it as well, then there is no point in changing to make the others happy. If you're happy and a good hand full of others are too, then gash darn it keep it coming just the way it is!
I shall be adding this to my favorite and following your adventures in the flash world so long as you continue to post your work for all of us to enjoy. =)
Honestly i say ignore those haters they just wanna nark on true talent cause they have none of their own. Dont move to sprites man sprites may look cool but pure hand drawn talent shows 10x more skill then making pixels move in a walking/flying fashion.
Your work is the best hand drawn animation on this site by far in my opinion.
Dont mind them, Keep doing what you want. Also in my opinion I would say handdrawn is way better then sprites.

Don't move to sprites. If the pretty boy artists don't like it, screw them. The kind of stuff you are doing with handdrawn is impossible to replicate fully with sprites, and you handdrawn kicks plenty of ass as it is.
Bull shit. Drawing by hand is what got you to front page. Nobody else out there has done this before that is what makes it good. Forget the trolls trying to spit on your work. It is great the way it is. Keep it up.

Sprites are definitely fun and easy to work with but if you can draw, do it.
I think the stuff you're doing now is great, but it is always nice to try new things. If I were you I'd try the sprites and see what happens. Who knows, maybe you'll end up mixing them into your own thing. In any case I liked both of the fated encounters, keep up the good work.

But your flash is awsome! although i afdmit the quality isnt the "best" but its really quite nice! the only problem i noticed at all was that that Emphasis on rayquazza's opening and the ending there was a bit "too much shaking" you should probably lower the amount of displacement there and it would be all good.
Im just gonna go ahead and say it when i say :P i demand 2 more! :P haha but seriously though dont end it that soon! you got an extremley good thing going on there. heres why im asking for 2 more though (probably 1 more?)
the one of the fight between Deoxis and Mewtwo. (that im sure your working on) and, .... the battle between those 3 dudes and ash! :P ... also maybe have more of a story continuation (to keep going because i can think of quite a few things that would be simply epic!)
Like Ash to be the secret fourth member of that vangaurd trio ... even though its supposed to be 3 lol. Or perhaps a little easter egg of Ash's pikachu against the Lucario or Steelix .... something hilarious that would end in that pikachu failing lol (not anything agaist it but that tiny little electric rat has been needing to get a real loss quite some time!) After those 2 little things i'd be totally content XD and i'd be happy to see what you do with sprites and such, although to be honest i'd really rather see more of your drawings, who knows maybe you may get better! but its still a rather nice thing to see around. (your drawings are fairly good anyways though)
If you want to hear me ramble on more about those idea's on those pokemon battles do feel free to PM me i'm always happy to contribute to a good flash (sadly im not that good at drawing in flash or coding but thats mainly due to lack of caring since i dont have enough free time to do such things, etc.)
Yeah Ash might come into play in the future. The problem is.. I know very little about him, yes I know I know thats quite sad haha. I did plan three battles, I could continue to six O_O
If there is anything to say, too many sprites.
Your art style is just fine the way it is.
Your flash proves more then that much.
However, people will still want some Pokemon flash from you.
So, here is my suggestion. Each, two or three months, switch from Pokemon to (insert name here) and anything alike so anything you have doesn't get old quick.
Besides, flash for Pokemon here is uncommon, (same can be said for others, perhaps even the ultimate crossover, such as Halo, Mario, God of War, etc.)
and people would like to see more of it you know.
As for the flamers, ignore them.
They are just trying to control you for their plans of world domination of flash.

I just want to say that I think this is absolutely incredible ^^ Always loved Pokemon, and have always wished that the battles would be this intense. It's great to see just how well you've captured this ^^ Now all that remains is one last question; How well do you think the four of them would do against my team if it were in a battle just like this ^^

Your style is awesome. You are the one who take it ot a whole new level of battle animations. Actually I'm fine with all of them but YOU are the only so far who's made a destructive animation like this. The one by NCH was more smooth but WHO DA FUCK CARES! Point is, if you move on to sprites, WHO'S going to make all of these handrawn effects?! Mabye after pokemon you should try Mario vs Sonic or Kirby. People here LUV Mario vs Sonic for some reason. On the other hand Kirby needs to get alot more famous here.

The style i've seen you use to animate, being hand drawn and all is like the first time i've ever seen it used on this site. And i've been on this site for a fuckload of time, just check out the date I signed up.

There's little point in trying to make something for fans. Some nub once rated my vid a 0 because I didn't include the name of the song I used >.>
I guess it really depends on who see's it. As someone who appreciates fine flash videos, I really enjoyed both of your pokemon videos (truly epic, I look forward to the finale). Hand-drawn animation is much more difficult to manage and is usually much more time consuming than sprite movies.
People tend to just look at something that's hand-drawn and think it could improve. Then they look at a sprite video and love it because most of the visual work is done for them. That's why Newgrounds fails at being a user-driven community. People don't appreciate our work for what it is, just how well it matches their particular interests.

Yeah thats the message I'm trying to get out to most folks here. Why is that they throw every insult at handdrawn and never at sprite based. Tut* tut* I say be fare be fare lol anyways everything you said was very true. Thanks for commenting and liking the work I produced.
