Like said above, your viewpoint on pokemon battles is vastly different, but great. I loved Lucario's Close Combat. That's easily ten times better than in the games and the anime.

Hello Tyrant. Just thought I'd stop by and see how progress was coming along. I see everyone wants you to make a long pokemon flash haha. You are truely talented. Im still patiently waiting for the release of the new pokemon flash video. Can we expect a date of release? Also Hope your having a wonderful 2012 as well.
I know this is a stupid question but most people do flashes and such because they have played pokemon or still like it. What made you do this?
Just something different nothing else.. I do wish that more folkz would create their own depiction of pokemon battles in flash. Again not really a fan, but I thought to myself this hasn't been done before.

- The battles you come up with are so epic that slow computers can't keep up with them.
If that isn't epic enough for hand drawn animations then I don't know what is man.

What you do should serve as a decompresser...not a pressurizer.
The flash you produce makes you feel great and receiving appreciation for it brings satisfaction. An incredible sense of achievement.
I sure as 1+1 = 2 know that MANY an eye shall gasm when this work is released.

Whoa, thats not a pokedex is it? cuz that's sick lol. Wait a dex to control forms? Wow, ud think the Deoxys could do that by itself but I guess he can use the Dex as a backup.
Btw have you considered doing another movie after this? A pokemon fight I mean cuz you have introduced us to yellow/crystal/emerald species up till now. My fav game of all time would be the plat(series). I dislike white/black a bit but it's more balanced that way cuz i think the company thot that they gave us too much candy in the plat series with pokemon with stats that were way too good lol.
rly any pokemon could make a good fight. Some things that have yet to take part would be say, ones that burrow or crawl/walk on land and may be too heavy, some that swim in the ocean, tho im not sure if people would like an underwater battle as much it'd be as boring as watching a submarine battle but who knows. Also I would stay away from psychics as they have the power to freaking move each other's bodies and then we'd have to go thru the trouble of having a battle in their minds which will prob be hard to project.
Good thinking and I agree.. any pokemon can have a good fight. I'm thinking of going back to the tradional battle with just ordinary non-uber pokemon. Like Electrode, Galie and stuff.. but yee Good thinking.

Oh my gosh That would be so great I think I would cry from excitement !!! And the new picture that you posted has got me on the edge of my seat! The Deo Dex! Thats Crazy and truly genius! And to not compliment the talents of someone such as yourself would just not be right. You deserve to know how creative and talented you are and I can say it many many times over that you will have the support of me, my brother, and the numerous friends i've shown this video too. We are all waiting patiently so don't feel rushed! I know Uni must be alot of work and its great that your doing things in life and still working on a project that many many fans adore! Ah...your work reminds me of the simpler days. Days where Toonami reigned supreme and my bro threatened to throw out my Gameboy color if I failed to record his DBZ episodes. Yep, I can see the inspiration, but I'm glad you don't have those "three episodes for five minutes of charging" spans. XD I'll be keeping watch for the next addition, and believe me, you have my support. It's a rare treat for Pokemon to be shown respect in a Flash. Much less in a flash that has such great action.
If there's any way random folks such as myself can help, I'd love to hear about it. I've been working with some battle/movie prospects myself; just trying to figure out how to increase the efficiency with GIMP. Might not have the applications to get all of those crazy effects and background scrolling yet, but for storyboarding, character design and some motion, series info, searching for good music, etc. I'm game.
The Deo Dex screenshot makes great teaser material by the way. I always wondered what could determine the form Deoxys took. Have to say I'm rooting for Mewtwo for this one though. Even if you're not too big a Pokemon fan, you're certainly doing a good job with them in your flashes, so it doesn't matter to me. The Chrono Trigger production was great too; even though I've never had opportunity to play it, I could see the effort in the work.
24 FPS hand-drawn is no joke. Hope you can manage to keep your inspiration and have the time needed to continue your work. Patience will continue to reign supreme until then. Good luck with University, too!
